Police Officers In Mourning After Krispy Kreme Delivery Truck ‘Incident’
Police officers from around the world have come together to share their upset after an incident involving a Krispy Kreme delivery truck.
On the 26th November, at around 13:00 hours (Zulu time) officers from the Brookhaven (GA Police Department) were alerted to the fact that some prize doughnuts (also known as ‘donuts’) had fallen from the priceless delivery truck.
Officers from across the State scrambled to the scene to tend to the precious and highly-prized snack.
However, upon arrival at the location, it soon became clear to officers that some of the doughnuts were beyond help and thus were inedible as they had fallen outside of the ‘five-second rule’.
some of the ‘donuts’ were squashed in the road
Talking about the situation, a spokeshuman for the department said:
“Just moments ago, your Brookhaven Police officers answered the call each of us fears most.
“Dozens of doughnuts fell from a Krispy Kreme delivery truck as it drove along Peachtree Road.
“BPD rushed to the scene but to no avail.
“We found total carnage; doughnuts scattered along the curb and into the gutter- THE GUTTER, people!!!.
“The response time was stellar, but we couldn’t beat the 5-second rule.
“We are deeply saddened to report that the doughnuts were a total loss.
“As you can imagine, this is a challenging time, and the senseless loss of these delicious pastries has deeply affected all of our officers.
the casualties were spread all over the road
“We ask that you keep our department in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn this terrible moment”.
The Ministry of Morale has sent specialist morale officers to the scene to provide comfort and support to the officers who have bee affected by this tragic spectacle.
Talking about the incident, our Chief Morale Officer said:
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the officers who arrived on the scene only to find that their ‘best [food] friend’ was beyond help.
“Law enforcement officers often rely on doughnuts to keep up their morale and energy levels during a busy shift.
The call prompted a huge police response
“Because of this, the Ministry of Morale will be handing out free hugs to law enforcement officers in the area as a substitute for the doughnuts.
“We have a crowdfunding page where any proceeds raised will be used to get some doughnuts shipped into the affected area.
“Specialist doughnut trauma councillors have also been put in place to support the officers following the incident.”
