Spongebob Squarepants Found Dead In River
The Ministry of Morale regrets to announce that Spongebob Squarepants has been found dead in a river.
Our Morale Agents were alerted to the tragic incident by the police and have sent various morale inducing resources to the area to hand out free hugs to anyone who is a fan of Spongebob.
The exact circumstances surrounding his death are not precise.
However, it is thought that the recent heavy rainfall made Spongebob too heavy as he was walking by a river and hence he fell in.
Initial responders in the area had attended the scene and tried to squeeze the water out of Spongebob, but by then, it was too late.
A crime scene has been set up in the area and citizens are asked to stay away until Spongebob has been taken back to the toy store where fans can once again purchase him.
Talking about the incident, our Chief Morale Officer said:
“Today is a sad day for fans of Spongebob.
“However, as he has been cloned millions of times, then anyone who is a fan can still buy him if they really really want to.
“If you were down by the canal today (for whatever reason) then please contact our Morale Coordination Centre so that this matter can be investigated.”
Have you experienced a morale failure?
If ‘yes’, then you are encouraged to send us a light-hearted video detailing what happened and how the morale failure has affected your well-being.
These videos will then be shared with your fellow citizens (via our facebook page) who will then offer you advice on how to best overcome the morale failure.
