Police Officer Endures Morale Failure After Being Forced To Deflate A ‘Donut Floaty’
Our American Morale Embassay has made us aware of an incident that occurred, which has resulted in a police officer suffering from a morale failure after being forced to deflate a ‘donut floaty’.
In a post shared on the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, a spokesperson said:
‘Deputy McDonald consoles Deputy Kristalidis after he had to deflate a donut floaty he found rolling around I-94 creating a road hazard.
‘Please remember to secure items in the back of boats before trailering them on roadways’
In the picture, an officer can be seen consoling his colleague on what must have been a hard to decision to have been made by the officers.
A spokeshuman did confirm that: ‘No other inflatables or real doughnuts were harmed in the making of this picture’.
Police Officers around the world, have a close relationship with both doughnuts and donuts, as they are often called upon to help increase the morale of officers during a busy shift.
Talking about the situation, our Chief Morale Officer said:
“I can only imagine how hard this decision must have been.
“You see a lonesome ‘donut floaty’ meandering through traffic, trying to find a home and the only option you have open to you is to pierce a hole into it.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer at this challenging time.
“We are confident that a JustGiving page will end up being set up at some point and, of course, we won’t be sharing it.
“If you see Deputy Kristalidis ‘floating’ around, then please feel free to hug him (but ask him first).
“Arrangements have been made for our U.S. Morale Ambassador to send some donuts/doughnuts to Deputy Kristalidis”.
